Our Community Matters

The vision of SHIFT Nigeria is to inspire and enable transformation in every community in Nigeria. SHIFT Nigeria is very passionate about communities and we believe the main reason why Nigeria is failing is that we do not have strong leadership at the local level. We began this project in various communities in twelve (12) states in Nigeria to enable members of the community to understand that the progress of their community does not lie in the hands of the Federal Government. They can make a difference in the community. They can identify or be a transformative leader in the community. They can be more interested in the issue of governance in their community. SHIFT Nigeria, alongside members of the community, would work in making their community transformed. We can transform Nigeria, one community at a time.
