Oyingbo

About:
Oyingbo is a community in Lagos Mainland, Lagos State. The community is known for its poor sanitation, lack of potable water, and high level of poverty.

Goal & Opportunity:
The OCM was held in Oyingbo’s Okobaba community, with the community chief and other stakeholders in attendance. The goal of the OCM in the community is to examine community issues and possibly offer solutions. Two major challenges confront the community: poor water quality and a high level of insecurity.

Impact:
SHIFT, in collaboration with members of the community, is working on a solution to provide drinking water.
